My view from D.C.

Nothing to read from me this week.

Happy Monday! I had the pleasure of joining the Women’s Mining Coalition fly-in in Washington, D.C. last week. Suffice to say, it was a blast to be there as the House natural resources committee marked up its portion of the reconciliation bill. There are some great provisions related to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A), the Ambler Road, and the Iron Range of Minnesota. We’ll have to see what makes it through!

I barely had time to sleep and breathe, so no posts to share this week. Enjoy the pictures!

Reception on the Speaker’s balcony. We were joined briefly by Bruce Westerman, Pete Stauber from Minnesota, Nick Begich from Alaska, and an Arizona congressman (whose name I missed…).

Went to a Nats game and they bombed. Cleveland Guardians mopped up 9-1.
